This(dis)Like Dissected

No this is not a retake
of what wasn't even a mistake
this is not a redo,
neither is this deja vu
it's me with an open mind
promising not to gasp
at what I might  find
but gulp and say 'ok nice'
like the others I have left behind
you too are a package - my advice
it's not about the best in you
 that I could like
its not about the best of me
that to you I can give
it's about what's the worst
 in each of us
that we're willing to fogrive
about the worst in us
with which we are ready to live.
thus behold! the theory of sequences
in which you're discovered by me
the good before the worst
and I'm dreaming happily
but when the wounds you reveal
I must look dispassionate, not squeal
for this time today now
my agenda is to scan you Oh How!
'cause I'd rather know all of you
and live in a tangible reality
than selectively pick the best
and live with the fear of the rest.
