Character Sketch - the Cry Bab(e)y

With a somber smile, an interest you pique
In the agony of your sordid misfortunes
Vivid tales- kind ears, stable shoulders seek
For passionate tears of adventures inopportune
Your tread- unassuming, your technique- subtle
You think they got your back insured
Not happy to know that your mind does shuttle
Twixt sane love and vengeful madness- dwindling, unsure
Be informed that shaking knees we had once too
the tales we had, are buried not forgotten or untrue
patient ears we have but our patience does run out
when you be who you are not or say you’re in doubt
It's after trepid tortures we’ve learnt how to feel
grateful for the intuition to tell the fake from the real
broken passions we’ve set aside and not abandoned our zeal
while you make up your mind and all, we work up backs of steel
broken as the faith may be, on others we do not prey
with symbiotic prayers we heal each other each day
choose we not to be, pests on others emotional resource
and multiply the bubbling joy in us, have fun on the way, of course
for aware we are that the world is small, round
we choose to be nice to those who do so too
who decide and persistently stay sure, true
revenge, anger, hatred long ago we spat
in that we’re insured knowing that
which goes around comes around!
